Personality - Maya is a unique girl. Her personality makes her always stick out. The reason is because she is very contradicting; she is one of the guys, but she hates guys-she hates girly stuff, but longs to be girly. She mainly has her past to blame for this. Basically she is a hard-shell to crack. When you do though she is amazingly nice. She has trust issues, so she doesn’t have many true friends. Only a select few with whom she would give her life.
Maya prefers guy friends to girlfriends. She feels if you can’t beat them then join them. Because of her trust issues she also prefers one-night stands then long term relationships. Maya is the expert of pretend, she can easily hide all of her feelings, and pretend to be someone’s friend and have that person truly believe that she likes them. Because of her occasionally bubbly personality Maya has had many friends, but they are more like hangout buddies then true friends. Many people would go to Maya with their issues, because of her cool composure, and straight thinking mind.
Maya almost always multitasks she always has more than one thing on her mind, and nothing else. Thus making life a bit easier for her, because if she makes herself busy enough she can forget her past. Amazingly trust worthy. She is an amazing person once you get to know her. She is really appears to be dull, she is actually really funny. She likes to joke around. She is really flirty. Maya is easiest described as the perfect tomboy, with a twist.
Her history has affected her in one way though she feels that she has to prove to herself and everyone else that she can be a good FBI agent. To her being a good FBI agent is getting the highest spot possible. Maya is a good agent but she wants to be better. So to put it simply she is sleeping her way to the top. She tries not to flaunt it too much, until the time is right.
Maya has many flaws, like everyone else. Her major flaw is her outward attitude, to girls who don't know her she is a total bitch. Maya has that air about her, even though her past would say that she should like girls, she hates them. Maya believes that every girl is a stuck-up brat-hence causing her to be a bitch to every female specimen on the planet earth, with only a few exceptions. Those few have to be one the guys with her.
Another flaw is herself pride. Maya believes that she can do anything-and most of the times that falls through-but help is not in Maya's vocabulary. Since Maya is so stubborn she fits in perfectly. It only gets awkward when on of the guys develops crush on her, then it's is just weird to hang out with that person.So when this happens Maya tries her hardest to ignore it completely. Being so stubborn has also made her cocky, but this is still her outward attitude.
